Last updated: Sept 25, 2026: Clarified that CASTANET Inc dba LinkedVAnow does not buy, sell, rent, exchange, or share leads, mobile numbers, or SMS opt-in data. SMS is first-party only and is sent only to paying customers who opted in to account notices.

CASTANET Inc, doing business as LinkedVAnow ("LinkedVAnow," "we," or "us"), operates LinkedVAnow.com and the LinkedVAnow managed LinkedIn service.

Summary: We don't ask you for personal information unless we need it to run the service. We don't sell personal information. We don't buy, sell, rent, exchange, or share business leads or SMS opt-in data. We share personal information only with service providers that process it for us, to comply with the law, to operate the service, or to protect our rights.

Information We Collect

We collect information about you when we have a reason to do so—to provide the Services, to communicate with you, or to improve the Services. We collect it when you provide it, automatically when you use the site or Services, and from the platforms you authorize us to use on your behalf.

Information You Provide to Us

Account and contact information. When you inquire about or purchase LinkedVAnow, you provide information such as your name, company, email address, phone number, and other details needed to set up and support your account.

Transaction and billing information. If you buy a subscription, you provide payment and billing details required to process the charge. We use Stripe to process payments.

Credentials for platforms we operate on your behalf. To deliver the service you authorize us to access the LinkedIn account (and any related tools) that you designate. We use those credentials only to provide the Services.

Communications with us. You may provide information when you email us, talk with your account manager, complete a survey, or request support.

SMS opt-in. If you choose to receive account texts, you provide a mobile number and consent. That program is described in SMS / Mobile Information below. Consent to SMS is not required to buy or use LinkedVAnow.

Information We Collect Automatically

Log and usage information. Like most online services, we collect browser type, IP address, device identifiers, referring site, date and time of access, operating system, pages viewed, and similar log data when you use LinkedVAnow.com or the client portal. We use Google Analytics to understand how the marketing site is used.

Location information. We may infer an approximate location from your IP address, for example to understand where visitors come from.

We do not operate a consumer mobile app that reads information stored on your device.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small piece of data stored on your browser. Pixel tags (web beacons) are small blocks of code on pages or in emails. We use cookies and pixels to run the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, understand email campaign performance, and deliver ads for LinkedVAnow.

You can also install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. LinkedVAnow does not respond to "do not track" signals.

Information from Other Sources

If you connect a third-party account so we can deliver the service (for example LinkedIn), we receive the account information that connection provides. We do not purchase consumer phone lists or SMS consent. We do not collect mobile numbers from third parties in order to text people who are not our customers.

How And Why We Use Information

We use information to:

Set up and maintain your account, deliver the managed service, produce reports, and charge for paid plans
Improve the Services and understand how customers use them
Measure advertising for LinkedVAnow and understand retention
Protect the security of the Services, prevent fraud and spam directed at our systems, and protect the rights of LinkedVAnow and others
Send service notices, billing messages, and—if you have not opted out—email about LinkedVAnow offers and product updates
Send SMS account notices only if you opted in, as described below

Legal Bases (EEA / UK)

If EU or UK data protection law applies, we process information because: (1) it is necessary to perform our contract with you or to take steps at your request before a contract; (2) it is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; (3) it is necessary to protect vital interests; (4) we have a legitimate interest in operating, securing, improving, and marketing LinkedVAnow in ways that do not override your rights; or (5) you have given consent, for example for optional cookies or SMS.

Employees and contractors. We disclose information to people who need it to deliver the Services and who are required to follow this Policy.

Service providers. We share information with vendors that process it on our behalf: payment processing, hosting, email delivery, customer support, analytics, and, if you opted in to account texts, the vendor that transmits those messages. Vendors may use your information only to perform services for LinkedVAnow. They may not use it to market their own products to you, and they may not buy, sell, or share SMS opt-in data.

Legal requests and protection of rights. We may disclose information in response to a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect LinkedVAnow, our customers, or the public.

Business transfers. If LinkedVAnow is involved in a merger, sale of assets, or similar transaction, user information may be transferred as part of that deal. This Policy would continue to apply unless you are notified otherwise.

With your direction. We may share information when you ask us to, for example when you authorize a connection to another service.

Aggregated or de-identified information. We may share statistics that cannot reasonably identify you. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data in identifiable or hashed form for advertising.

We do not sell personal information. We do not buy, sell, rent, exchange, or share business leads.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy or as required by law. Web server logs are typically kept about 30 days. Account, billing, and service records are kept for the life of the customer relationship and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, dispute, and legal purposes. SMS opt-out records are kept as needed to honor the opt-out.

Security

No online service is 100% secure. We take reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction.

Your Choices

You can ask us to correct account information by emailing your account manager or support@linkedvanow.com.
You can opt out of promotional email by using the link in those messages or by emailing us. We may still send account and legal notices.
If you opted in to SMS, reply STOP to cancel.
You can refuse cookies in your browser.
You can cancel the service with 30 days written notice as described in the Terms.

After an account is closed we may retain information as described in How Long We Keep Information, including where needed for legal obligations or legitimate business interests such as defending claims.

Your Rights

If you are in a place whose laws provide rights such as the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data, subject to legal exemptions. Email support@linkedvanow.com or write to:

International Transfers

LinkedVAnow is based in the United States. If you use the Services from the EEA, UK, or another region, your information will be processed in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards with vendors, such as European Commission standard contractual clauses. We do not rely on the EU-US Privacy Shield.

California Residents

Under the CCPA/CPRA, California residents have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, subject to exceptions. LinkedVAnow does not sell or rent personal information as those terms are defined by California law. We do use advertising cookies and pixels on LinkedVAnow.com as described above.

In the last twelve months we have collected identifiers such as name, postal address, unique identifiers, IP address, email address, phone number, and account name, and we have used them for the purposes in this Policy.

To exercise California rights, email your account manager, email support@linkedvanow.com, or call (844) 787-2278. We may need to verify your identity. You may designate an authorized agent with proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

SMS / Mobile Information

CASTANET Inc dba LinkedVAnow sends SMS only to paying LinkedVAnow customers who separately opt in to account notices. If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we use that number only to send first-party service and account messages about your LinkedVAnow subscription (onboarding, scheduled calls with your account manager, reports, portal activity, billing, and support).

We do not text a client's prospects, customers, leads, or any other third party. We do not buy, sell, rent, exchange, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data. Consent is collected and used only by CASTANET Inc. The only third party that may receive a mobile number for this program is the vendor that transmits the message.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent to receive SMS is not required as a condition of purchasing or using LinkedVAnow services.

All categories of collection, use, and sharing in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties other than the messaging vendor.

Changes

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" line at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
